Hey all! Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2012 CFC Christmas Promotion! Not only have you helped raise cash for charity, but you’ve also put yourself in the running for some fabulous prizes! We’re happy to say that our winners have been determined and all have been notified. The first place winner chose to donate the $500 (£350) charity pot to Anticoagulation Europe, a charity which works to prevent thrombosis and provides information, education and support for the condition. Thanks to everyone who took part to support this great cause.
If you want to know more about the premise of this year’s competition, here’s what we asked our brokers to do:
1. Find your cheesiest Christmas sweater, worst bauble earrings, most extravagant Santa hat, loveliest reindeer antler headband or any other awesome Christmas gear and take your new LinkedIn profile picture whilst wearing it.
2. Make sure you’re following CFC Underwriting on LinkedIn (click here!), post your lovely new profile picture and we’ll donate $5 to charity for each cheesy Christmas photo.
3. Once you’ve uploaded your new photo, go to the “status update” bar at the top of your LinkedIn homepage and post the following message…
“As part of the #CFCChristmas promo for charity, I’ve posted a new profile pic of myself in fabulous Christmas gear! Each pic posted means $5 is donated to charity. Please “like” this status update and I may be able to choose where the money is donated to!”
You are of course welcome to post your own version but just make sure you use the hashtag #CFCChristmas so we can keep track of your update. The person whose status update has the most “likes” will get to choose the registered charity that the pile of cash is donated to, plus will get an iPad Mini. Great second and third place prizes will also be given.
